In 30 years to get nothing under 4C (and only one under 5C) on this date is pathetic, considering there have been several daily CETs below that in October since 1979. The warmest 12.6 is nothing special, has been exceeded in December- it nearly always seems to be roundabout 10C, cloudy and variably wet on my birthday.
