For sure.

We were forecast light snow for today- we're getting light snow! Don't see what the problem is, personally.

Coming in a little heavier here now. Pembrokeshire looks like it's having a heavier burst...

Moderate snow here lol we were forecast light snow.

Amazing to see how this precipitation has developed over SW England/Wales. Light/Mod snow here in pembs - nothing in the SE. Advice - don't watch BBC forecasts (except Rob McElwee).

its been light here for about an hour now, but it doesnt seem to be laying. Where there is no existing snow and ice (plants fences cars) it just seems to melt :-(

Pascal, I live in hope, but fear the worst!

Slight increase in the amount of grains, and ever so slightly larger grains BUT .............................

It is melting.

It could snow like this for years but it would amount to nothing.

Need some heavy stuff.

Come on Swansea bay, create some precip for us.

Original METO warning was effective from 18:00 tonight wasn't it? It's snowing NOW and looks like it could get heavier. A slight thaw is expected in warmer cloud conditions as well? Nothing to worry about just yet.

Looks like this is the anticlimax I've feared here in Machynlleth.

No sign of any significant clouds on the radar. It's overcast here, but very very light. Not much substance to the cloud cover. Very occasional small 'floaty' flakes coming down, but melting instantly.

Shame really, I was looking forward to some good snow...

If you forget about models and radars etc for a minute and just look at the colour and texture of the sky, it just screams snowy day. It's got a real 'old-fashioned winter' feel to it, if you know what I mean.

Light - Moderate snow now, flakes still mostly very small but some seem slightly bigger at times. Just as i say that they now r a bit bigger and gotten a bit heavier, trying to stick but finding it hard even in a light breeze.

Edit: Moderate snow now. Still smally flakes!

I thought the heavy snow wasn't forecast till the afternoon/overnight anyway, so i wouldn't expect it for a while anyway! so it might not be over quite yet!
