How can that be? we've had nothing! - must me very localised and be over in a blink of an eye.

From the rainttoday map the Dengie peninsular only clipped the very northern edge of the lump. Don't worry too much. If 1987 was anything to go by, when I lived in Tillingham, we were snowed in for a week, with drifts half way up the door and blocking the road to Southminster entirely where it drifted off the fields.

A LOT of westward movement now with these shower clumps. Fingers crossed they hold. Estimate arrival here at 00:00ish

Agreed, just hope Bluebell doesn't hold them and then disapate them.

Timmy H....its gone as quick as it arrived...temp has dropped from -3.2 to -4 in last 5 minutes!!

I'm guessing, but looking on radar meteox.co.uk we are due another shower maybe bigger around 1am

Just been through all of the emoticons and not a praying one LOL! Am praying that Halling & Maidstone Weather both have this right. Fingers crossed for everyone in Medway, Maidstone etc etc and those in the far East of the county!

any reports of lighting stikes off the northeast kent coast... just popped out to the car and saw a few flash.... might have been the trains mind!!

id say we've had another 1-2 inches here east of canterbury!!
