this is actually quite frustrating because although each shower train is moving westwards, the consecutive one develops slightly to the east of the first one, so that the same places get continuous showers! grr

Well i was watching tv and it sounded like someone shooting pellets at the window/front door , looked outside and all you could hear was the clatter of large hailstones... I'm not talking little tiny ones either , visibilty was really bad

On BBC Weather's interactive forecast, the blizzard they're warning the public about in Germany appears to move off east, rather than towards us. Is this not the system that's going to cross us on Sunday?

showers missing me too. NW Extra has light snow over me but will it rain has heavier snow over me the two do not say the same i am confused.

i dont think we have been spoilt - got non ein december, new years day morning a shallow blanket. and now weds this week a less shallow but still short blanket... its nice because there is no thaw. but i want snow children sink in like i did as a kid - about 4 foot would be good lol. or even one foot so you can make a snowman and the grass doesnt show through under!
