Daivd Braine, Spotlight: Widespread persistent snow on Sunday into Monday, possibly heavy in Cornwall and west of Devon and then the potential for further heavy snow into Tuesday night! :good:

Sounds great for your area! Can't argue with someone who's surname is Brain either...

It's Braine, and you can. Just because his surname is Braine does not necessarily mean he greater intellect than anyone else, and it certainly doesn't have any bearing on him being a good forecaster or not. Also, you could have severe learning difficulties and have the surname 'Braine', which would be unfortunate.

:p

HeHe. Maybe the e on the end is to make us feel better.

The band coming our way has lost some intensity on its travels, but its so cold outside perhaps a little top is on its way anyway.

You won't need to do radar watching with charts like these from the NAE 12Z for Sunday.

I wouldn't advise planning on going anywhere.

Yeh, wouldn't want to get caught out in extremely light snowfall :)

It's only light for Wiltshire.......Seriously it's light but it still gives a few cm's over a few hrs, comes with 20-30mph winds and would be enough to make driving very difficult, particularly with nobody gritting any more.

Chelt and Glos look on target for a bit that's intensified in the last 15 mins - good luck!
