I think from about 5 onwards we will start to see some increased activity in Thames Estuary. IMO.

Cold wind really set in now and today Bromley has an Ice Day. Snow was heavy for a short while in Biggin Hill this morning which now has about 8ins of snow. Anyone else from the North Downs just interested to hear what they think of the conditions as surrounding areas do not have anywhere near that amount.

Hi tv, welcome to the mad house. I live in Bromley. We've only got 7cms, but with your elevation you always do better.

I think it will be before that, Sitting here at London Bridge and I have seen this sky before. Not long now I don't think.

You need very strong wind for it to be a blizzard. It's not just heavy snow.

Any wind?

It was a short-lived affair but the wind reallly picked up for a while.:wallbash:

You got more than we did then Jan - only around 1 to 1.5 inches in my back garden

Looking forward to Sun/Mon

Pitch black here now but nothing in the sky (apart from starlings)...

DS

Thats what I'm looking at SW. Providing it stays together!

Yeah me too, I'm on a similar line. I think it's going to start curling in on itself and lose it's main feed, just hope there's enough juice left on it to give me a few CMs

You're only about 2.5 miles from me. Just goes to show how localised the snow can be

I've been following that stream but it's breaking up before it even reaches me. Been sitting under what seems snowy cloud for an hour now, but nothing falling.
