As I didn't quite get my report for yesterday in on time:

WEDNESDAY

Heavy snow fell overnight leaving 14cm by 9am. Snow continued intermittently but lightly for much of the day before skies cleared shortly before sundown. A bitterly cold wind gave a significant windchill.

Max. -0.5C

Min. -3.5C

TODAY

Clear skies and a very cold night last night. Down to -9.3C and it's -9.2C now. All the snow looks terribly icy from my window.

Almost as cold here on the edge of the town centre - currently -6.5 after a minimum 20 minutes ago of -6.8, the lowest temperature I've recorded here since moving to Reading in 2002.

You seen those massive icicles hanging from rooftops mate? I've got one 13 inches long hanging out my window.

A very very cold and clear start here. Over all about 6cm of snow fell yesterday night and yesterday although we missed the worst here, I'm still happy with this as haven't seen this much in my exact location before due to lots of bad luck which seems to have ended!

Its also the coldest I've ever seen it here, I didn't expect it to be quite this low here!

Temp: -11.4°C

Dew point: -12.4°C

May well stay below freezing today!

Clear, sunny, calm, 3 to 4 inches of snow on the ground. The lowest I recorded was -6.6c but my weather station's batteries failed so I'm certain it would have been lower seeing as every local Met station got lower than -8c and Yeovilton to a bone chilling -14 odd!!

Not a cloud in the sky so far today and everything looks so much brighter than it normally would it in the winter because of all the snow around.

Currently -3.4c after a low of -10.0c which was the coldest night for several years here..

Coldest night since february 1991 at -8.6c but strangely my other didn`t drop below -9c as that would normally read 2c lower.

Wall to wall sun and sparkling snowcover at -2.4c and just a light NW wind,it`s picked up a little bit.
