I am absolutely gobsmacked at the snow cmg down here in newport! I am seriously happy wit this! If this carries on for a few more hours we will have some serious cm's!!

Hello everyone,

I haven't read the latest 9 or so pages so will have to catch up, bare with me if it has already been said. However it seems that looking at the radar returns due south of me in Winchester/Basingstoke etc. and also some parts to my north must have a good covering already 3 inches or more maybe?

My measurement at 6pm for what it is worth currently was 5cm laying snow at Newbury.

I hope everyone has heeded the warnings and are safe at home, the M4, A34 etc. must be chaos right now.
