New Brighton has by far the hesviest snow so far in Wirral.

What is your depth at the moment Ian?

The roof lines are starting to disappear now.

50p size flakes here, really falling fast, visibility going worse.

Can't see John Lennon airport staying open for much longer-just rung my mate at work in Liverpool City centre and told him to get out of there.

Buses out of Woolton have changed their routes so they don't go up any hills.

Just dashed in to say we're getting proper snow here, settling on top of last nights, not huge flakes, but big enough! Planes are still taking off but not sure for how long. Off to Speke Hall now with dogs!

Hope you're all enjoying yourselves!

Heavy snow for the past hour near the Anglican Cathedral.

Upper Parliament Street is starting to get covered again despite being gritted in the morning.

The people who abandoned cars on the road this morning may regret it because by 5pm their car might be under a heap of snow!

Nice one, I'll look forward to seeing them if you can take a few. Was up the top of Ripponden Road yesterday, and the scenery is breathtaking.

I'm all snowed out now lol, just patchy light snow falling, the kind were it would need to snow for 3hrs to get another cm lol Might get some kip, being up at 5:30am is beginning to tell.

Looks to be a nice "Eddy" feature on the NW radar coming off Kinder Scout. Im hoping the Higher Terrain to my East will keep such lifting going as the Front slooowly moves South.
