North East England Cold Spell Dicussion

A nice snow shower growing on intensity on the radar not far away from here and sky is all pink

I must say, when i looked at the beeb graphics and i have to admit, i was a bit surprised too see they are predicting the cold front too MISS us(it all goes into Cumbria and swing around and hits North Yorkshire, missing Northumberland southwards).

Could this happen, i mean we are very close to the low centre according to the model outputs? Nothing to worry about i would of thought as the graphics change all the time.

I personally would prefer if the lows centre was a bit more to the east but thats my opinion.
