Merry Chrimbo everybody! Loads of snow still here, a good 8cm average depth, nice and crusty. There is more at my Mam's house, easily 10cm plus, although I didn't measure because I was too busy eating Christmas dinner.

Yes that weather station is incorrect as temps elsewere close by are much lower and the sky is orangy come on snow

How its raining here in thornaby im so gutted My snowcover is breaking up the only good thing is the dewpoint is going dow a little bit

I can only assume that with you being closer to the coast and lower down you're losing out. It did start off ever so slightly sleety at first glance, but didn't take long to turn to snow.

Im sorry about been grumpy but im ded annoyed and upset i know its just weather but i so wanted snow to fall on christmas day and now my snowcover is gettin broken up when i wake up in the morn it probs be gone :@

Snowing lightly in meadowfield, Durham. Official White Xmas likely for my location. :-)

Just a shame my bet for London didn't come off. £25 at 8-1 would have been a good xmas present.

Nothing here yet, even though Raintoday radar showing snow over Tyneside !!?

Still, if it's in Co Durham and only a few miles away, it's exciting stuff waiting to see if we get only our 2nd official Whie Christmas in 9 yrs. 1 hr and 51 mins to go, will it happen, c'mon !!

Still dry here with the temperature at -2c,we still have over an hour to have an official white Christmas,imo its the stuff laying all over the place that constitutes a white one so I am satisfied-I hope everyone had a great day.
