Moderate snowfall here with small and midium sized flakes! It is trying to stick where there is no snow but without big success so far!

It needs to intensify a bit more!

I am quite impressed now. 3 days below 0, yesterday 2 inches of snow and tonight for the past hour and a half another inch as fallen..its gone form moderate to heavy with nice chunky non wet snow flakes. About time the estuary is helping us get snow instead of hindering.

Worth mentioning that some of the snow we have on the ground is 6 days old!

Light flakes here now but quite a lot of them, just put my torch to the window. Gonna go outside and point my laser upwards in a bit.

Lets hope those temps dont start increasing, can't see that happening tbh. Its been below 0 here for the last couple of days and I think this deep cold is right here and going nowhere fast..the irish sea and the estuary is really helping to fuel this snowfall. Nice big fluffy flakes, hasn't stopped now for close to 1h45 mins..just hope it keeps going its about time we got a really dumping on.

Sorrry to be late with this but it's finally snowing in South Liverpool We've had about an hour now of PROPER fluffy, big snowflakes!!!! No sleet, no hail, no graupel - just beautiful SNOW!

I haven't read through all your posts yet b ut I hope no one is predicting a melt later!!

Estuary is really helping to furness this heavy snow. raintoday radar is showing there could be quite a bit coming our way later too.

Heavy snow now here!

The radar shows that the precipitation is heavy from Manchester westwards, while the Pennine areas are seing much lighter falls.

I hope once the band moves north, that skies clear to allow for subzero temperatures again!
