50P big size snowflakes now, very wet

Aghh there's a nice surprise.. turning incresingly wintry.

Less than 100M ASL 6 miles from the coast

Flakes have become smaller and finer suggesting its proper drier snow now.

Very heavy snow, covering all surfaces, possibly the largest flakes I've ever seen.

just watched the bbc forecast on news 24 and theres no mention of snow here maybe a little in north wales tonight..

im sorry bbc its belting down here and the roads that have been gritted are getting well covered already...temp now 0.4C

these showers are really hefty and theyre obviously bringing the temps down when arriving.....

just in case i havent mentioned it...its snowing thick here and sticking well

Shame its very wet here and there is more rain than snow, a few 100m or so and this will be snow. Although it looks like the snow level could come lower for a while.

Just had some unexpected heavy snow, started to settel to things even though its wet from the rain earlier, stopped at the moment, hope it starts again soon

amazing amount of snow - huge flakes and topping up what we already had - and we were expecting rain to wash it all away - even the raintoday radar doesn't seem right with where it has the rain positioned?

cannot believe there are no weather warnings....a lot of people who work in cwmbran are from the valleys...theyre going to have some fun getting home tonight....thisll be on the news again !! like the snow we had the other night the never forecast

snow level is down to here now, 100% heavy wet snow now

heavy snow still here...well covered...cwmbran is gridlocked with panicking traffic and xmas shoppers trying to get out.....amazing weather.....temp now 0.4C and snowing very heavy

I am to the south of u near llantrisant my post code is CF15 area. Im pretty much on the Garth Mountain. Still nothing. My snow hasnt melted tho so lol. Are showers expected to follow from the SW?

Slightly further north and with a bit of elevation there is lot more snow, roads are quite bad... just slushy here but terible further away
