M1 around J10 for luton

I'm sure it's been gritted, but people need to realise that it won't melt snow on impact when it comes down so thick and fast. It gradually melts eventually but if it keeps snowing it gets worse and worse.

Those of you getting snow now, did your temps go up to around 0, then snow fell and settled? Did the temp drop again?

The temperature at Charlwood has risen from -4.3 to 0.2 - it's now down to -0.3 - I think the warm sector may have passed and we haven't had the snow yet!

M1 around J10 for luton

I'm glad I'm not driving in that!

Now I know we are nowcasting at the moment, but the BBC has for Reigate the 'heavy snow' graphic on Monday! How accurate at this stage do you think this is?

Wow, have had heavy snow here in Buntingford, East Hertfordshire with an additional couple of cm's.

Topping up our 7 inches of snow from the other night.
