it's raining here now!

You sure it's not small ice grains? I know it can sound like rain sometimes?

1.c here now, keep looking at the North West Thread and that is making me feel more confident. A member in Runcorn (Near coast) is reporting sleet, and snow reports in Manchester. Surprised at the temp rise. There is still a warning out so we will have to wait and see.

Snow is now starting to fall heavier... It's started to lie on the frozen pond which it hadn't done until now. The road behind my house is now pretty much covered again and we have a lot more to come :drinks:

Definitely a warm sector in this, temp now shot up to -0.6C. Looking at the radar, I'd say east of the A1 is definitely the place to be tonight, both in terms of intensity and duration. I think if anyone is perfectly placed it's going to be Brian (GMG) - good luck, you could get 2 hours of heavy snow starting about now !

Amazing the difference a few miles makes! Just arrived home from work and we are currently at -0.1C with a dewpoint of -1.5C. The temperature hasnt gone above freezing all day!

Hi Martin, I think you're right; it really is coming down right now. For my area, this is looking like being better than Friday's event :wallbash:
