Watford: Now 0 C. it was slightly cooler earlier, started snowing about 2030 hours and pretty well finished for a time at 0030 hours, however just had a quick look at the lamp post and it is coming down again, slight to moderate but appears to be intensifying - bigger flakes this time, only small before - still quite breezy with some drifting. Total depth to date, say about 5 cms, difficult to estimate when it drifts.

Did post some piccies on a different post.

Night Night all, have to go to bed - can't stand the stress of it all!

Snow started in Reading around 10.30 last night. At 8.00 when I left home: clear, -1.0 and still falling, 8cm of level snow on the garden table (the flattest surface we have outside) and 6-7cm on the (uneven) patio. About 4cm of snow here at work in Basingstoke, but it's started snowing again. Wind moderate E.

-1.5º here and sunny after a low of -3.6º earlier this morning. There's a dusting of snow on everything making the Pennines look especially beautiful this morning. Kent might have 6 inches of snow, but half an inch on the Pennines looks better than 2ft on top of shopping centres...not that I'm jealous of course.

I suppose last night brought the twelfth air frost of the season.
