Perthshire High Rivers And Waterfalls

Been out this morning to Kenmore and the Birks of Aberfeldy. Levels have dropped a fair bit since last night. Most rivers in the area peaked about midnight. Here's some photos...

Oh those waterfall shots are simply stunning!!

I forgot to take my tripod to Wales this time :winky: so no waterfall shots! I am now very jealous !

Wow, those are some nice waterfall pictures! Do you use some kind of filter to make the water look like that? (I only use a digital camera so I wouldn't know sorry).

Thanks, No I didn't use any filters.

I used a low ISO about 100, AF high as possible, about 22, and shutter speed was 2 seconds.

You should be able to get effects like this with a standard digital camera as long as you can change the settings.

Ah, if I fiddle with the settings on my camera it will probably break it.

Well I shall be having a play with those settings, I have always used ND filters to get the smokey water effect or taken them in low light.
