Interesting that a few years ago Piers' repeatedly sensationalist opinions were reported in The Times, then in the last couple of years in the Daily Express and now in the Daily Star.

I need say no more.

Oh dear what a complete load of nonsense.. it seems Piers Corbyn is either wildly misinterpreted by the Star or he is just using the paper to spout his political views on climate change.

Seriously though bitterly cold? If he actually did say that, I'm surprised he can be termed a 'meteorologist'

I have never been on the daily star website.

The best part was the link below the article, more 'news' here, with the inverted commas! Even they know the content of their website is rubbish!

The articel is very repetitious, almost like there wasn't enough material available to make a newsworthy story! lol!

And I bought it ONCE, in the belief that it somehow related to 'sport'...No need for Andrex on that day!

That said, does anyone-else think that Piers Corbyn is an unashamed self-publicist? ;)

Well I for one think Piers Corbyn is far far better at LRF than the MetO, who continually make an hash out of every LRF! So easy to knock the little guy with new ideas, and accept the mainstream with their political agenda!

I actually think it's easy to knock Piers Corbyn for being rubbish and nuts.

Good job I didn't make a comment like that, about so called respected scientists, or I would have the wrath of warmists to cotend with!

i must say if he said them things then he has lost the plot,

in honesty i dont think he did.

and if this is the case then it goes to show that the media can really cause big problems.

but it is true united states and parts of europe are experiencing some early cold,

and id say aswell gw although being hyped up more than ever is slowly but surely becoming more and more unstable.

but ive gotta laugh and being a coldie i like reading this stuff but i would be much better to read if it did not try to say that the cold is heading our way lol.:drinks:

He's been around for years and been wrong for years. If you think he's better than the met office we'll band together too buy you some good quality specs :drinks:

Always, as the Daily Star produces... Jordan. And now Piers Corbyn talking what he doesn't know about.

In theory, one full t*t page after another. Tuesday 20th October has a full head on storm system. He knows as much about meteorology as I do about the LHC. (But why mess with what if goes wrong, we're all doomed!! At least in Europe anyway!)

Feel free to delete this if Mods feel that I have stepped out of line but remember what the Met Office said in April as regarding Summer 2009/2008/2007.... (Need I say more. dry.gif )

Didn't quite go according to plan, and with the Daily Star, never did report a decent factual story full stop.

Phil.
