Spells of sunshine during the first half of this morning, becoming increasingly hazy as cist thickened and lowered into alst. The late morning and the whole of the afternoon was dry, quiet and cloudy.

We had the rare occurrence here of a flat calm at the 1800 observation.

After a cool and clear start it turned overcast by late-afternoon. The temperature reached 12.6C - the lowest max since 12th May. It has since cleared again, allowing the temperature to plummet to 6.3C, setting us up for an even lower min tonight.
