My area is right on the northern edge of that rainband.It's just started raining heavy.

Quite interesting seeing the constrast in temperatures atm, still 18°C across parts of the south while its 2/3°C in parts of Northern England and Southern Scotland even -1°C in Eskdalemuir. Cool here too, down to 3.8°C under clear skies.

Warm last night, was 17.5c most of the night, then at around 5.00am temp started to fall, currently 14.4c with an overnight high of 17.8c at 1.54am.

Apologies, as it is more of a report from yesterday.

I noticed around midday when I stepped outside that there was a muggy feeling to the air.

When I picked up my daughter at 17.45, the temperature guage in the car was at 19.5oC! Was a little shocked with that one.

Seems a little fresher this morning, with some sunny periods.
