Felt very crisp and autumnal this morning, down to 1.6°C. Stayed mostly clear through today and we've had some good sunny spells, up to 13.7°C.

Clear periods allowed the temperature to drop to 5.7c, and 2.5 on the grass last night before cloud arrived just after midnight.

The morning was quite cloudy, though bright spells developed in to sunny spells by early afternoon, not feeling to bad really with just a very light and variable wind, maximum temperature this afternoon 15.9c.

Considering the sea is still relatively warm too, it does beg questions about a potentiall all-round cool down..

I agree there Stephen. We dipped a little lower because i'm further inland, it dropped to around 3c give or take, the mud in the grass was partially frozen

Today saw the first significant rain since Wednesday 2 September, my gauge had nearly 10mm in it, most of which fell between 11.30-12.30!

The morning had been drizzly and the afternoon was drier but very dull/misty with high humidity.

Today's max was just 13.5c (the lowest max since 13 May) and right now it's 13.1c with 87% humidity.
