wow! some of the pictures are amazing. a stormy day there yesterday and the radar pics showed some really heavy stuff

i experienced red snow once. it was in the alps, and it was very odd to look at. apparently it was saharan sand. red rain has happenend a few times in the uk as far as i know, again courtesy of the sahara and a southerly wind

i was chatting via email to someone in Australia earlier today. the dust storm covered everything and the sky was red. very eerie.

The footage on tv this morning was awesome, must have been really scarey to wake up to though. Would have given Joe's right testical to have been there with my camera.

This youtube clip shows everything turn pitch black with onset of dust storm in Broken Hill in the west of New South Wales state, quite a scary experience I imagine:
