A very dreary dismal sort of a day , overcast throughout with some pathetic attempts of rain, just spits and spots in the breeze. Temperatures near average , yet anther non-descript September day continuing this very settled spell of weather we have had for 2 weeks now. Would like some change now.

Some heavy bursts of rain his evening ending a 2 week dry period which has allowed us to gather the straw bales and finish the harvest in dry dusty conditions. Autumn calving cows have started to calve outside and this weather gives the calves a flying start. Currently temperature 13c and a fresh SW wind

A cloudy day with occasional bright spells. Despite the band of rain moving over on the radar in the last few hours it has remained bone-dry here.

An average sort of day temperature wise with a max of 17.8C and min this morning of 9.6C.
