A very dull day in every true sense of the word. The cycle of dry days however, has ended we managed 10 days on the trot. We have had the tiniest spits and spots of rain today, barely measurable, probably wouldn't have noticed other than for a few spots on windscreens..

Its been very cloudy, at present the cloud is quite thick and dark but not threatening. Looking forward to some sunshine tomorrow, its been a very cloudy week in the main. Tonight could be quite chilly around here possible 3 and 4 mins in lake district valley bottoms.

Cool and foggy early on with a min of 8.3C. It then turned mostly cloudy with occasional sunny spells. A little warmer than recent days with a max of 18.4C so feeling pleasant. Shame about the continued lack of sunshine though.
