I do not recommend walking up that cliff.

Dawlish Warren. Where the BBC filmed 'The Odenin Line' you know. (Well you do now!)

And now for Exmouth sunsets...

Hi StormMad26.

I think that was in Budleigh Salterton. Nice place, nice beach and a great little restaraunt they have down there. I recommend their crab sandwich. Never tasted anything like it before in my life. :)

Anyway...

Seeing as I spent much of the day in Exeter during my stay in Exmouth. (Sandy Bay) You may recognise some of these given you living near Exeter...

Exeter Cathedral

IMG_5241.jpg

It's massive inside. £5 to get in but worth every penny

IMG_5255.jpg

That's a very big organ you have there! PIPE ORGAN THAT IS! :whistling:

IMG_5289.jpg

A pub where legend has it that Sir Francis Drake used to drink in. And one of the oldest pubs in Exeter, called The Ship Inn

I really enjoyed the views of Exeter. Great weather, wall to wall hot sunshine. The day felt more like an hour.

Now back to Exmouth and three of the most breathtaking sunsets I've ever captured on camera...

But this one is my personal favourite...

And thank you to others who have commented on my initial image post. :) Hope you enjoy this current crop.

Hi Phil

Nice pics again

Glad you enjoyed your stay down here:)

At first I thought that picture I quoted was a similar set of steps that i walked up earlier this year, but then noticed that the steps stopped rather than going off to the right! I believe the bottom half of those steps got washed away in a storm! (Dec 06 i think)

Never been inside Exeter Cathedral myself but must put it on my list to do sometime.

Lovely sunset pictures, I can remember there some pretty good ones around that time particularly one evening while on the way to some friends birthday party.

Thank you, Cakie and Jurgen De Boer. Much appreciated comments.

For StormMad26 and Cakie in particular... The Jurassic Coast Cliffs...

Below view, but the best is yet to come

What more could you ask for. Best view I've ever taken

On the other hand...

Hope those table legs hang out!

All my own work. All pics are original. I have never on this forum posted any image doctored or image falsified.

I used two cameras.

1. Canon PowerShot A570 IS

2. Kodak C813

What you see is what you get. Dated ones (lower right) are from the Kodak C813. (1024x682. Takes up too much memory and cannot adjust pic size) The 640x480 are from my original camera, Canon PowerShot A570 IS. (More versatile with image sizing).

Just to clarify that. No stealing from other website images if that is your doubt.

Phil.

Cool. Never meant it to sound like it wasn't your photo's. Did you call in for a virtual pint in Dawlish :)

And with these last two pics. That's my lot for this thread image-wise...

Only £1.3 million for the orange penthouse. (I have that on good authority.) smile.gif
