Cloud rolled in about 9am but it's still bright with some sunny spells. Sudden gust of wind half hour ago too - a change of feel to things.

Mostly cloudy today with some light rain this morning, quite a strong wind too, so feeling much different to the last few days.

With the clear skies it managed to fall to 10.0C overnight and is currently 15.8C which is the max so far.

Another lovely dry sunny day - the fifth on the trot meaning we are experiencing the most settled conditions since late June/early July - about time I say!

I have been walking in Ennerdale over the past 3 days the weather was great, skies a little hazy at times, but the main thing was no need to take a rain jacket. The dry weather looks like it will stick in this part of the country for the best part of next week, all good news for the saturated ground which really needs this prolonged dry spell - mother nature often balances things out just in time it seems.
