Rain has eased but the wind is picking up now, gusting around 30mph, 35-40mph on Mumbles

Another day with not one ounce of sunshine sparkle, any dry spells we get at the moment in between the heavy bouts of rain or showers are cloud laden affairs, until we get rid of this westerly/south westerly airstream we are not going to see much sunshine, lack of sun has become a real feature of recent weeks, I'm starting to get sun deprived and its only early September!

Tomorrow may deliver some late bright spells but I'm not holding out for much.

Atrocious night the gusty wind was so bad it woke me up several times, overcast now and very windy, feeling cold too as we pull in cool RPM air, pleasant it is not.

Vicious howling NW wind and lashing rain woke me up 20 mins ago and there's no sign of it relenting yet. Whole trees being bent and shaken. Everything rattling. Daresay there'll be damage somewhere and debris on the roads. Pressure steady now, so maybe this is the back edge of Danny stsrting to come through.

Pressure just started to rise. Still dreadful out there though, heavy rain lashing down and booming on the roof. Not fit to go outside at present, you'd scarcely be able to stand up in this wild gusty wind.
