Hot and windy with virtually unbroken sunshine. 26.2C and the August sizzler continues.

Yet down here, this August is just below average.. to join the list of most other below average months these past 3 summers..

Today continues cool, dull, cloudy, 17C and quite misty looking over the hills... We've missed out on every 'hot spell' this august and only had one max of 25C in the late June/early July hot spell. This is getting quite annoying now. June however was quite good with a mean just above average. and a mean max probably about 1C above, but its the only month like that in the last 3 years and of course June is cooler than July/August.

Sorry if I seem grumpy this afternoon.. Enjoy the sunshine and warmth people who keep getting it.

Temps actually risen a fraction of a degree to 17.2C after being 16.9C earlier

Out temp: 17.2C

Humidity: 92%

Dewpoint: 15.9C

Wind: 6 mph 'gusting 13 mph

Wind dir: SSE

Pressure: 1011.5mb

Edit: and when I say that the sun breaks through :wallbash: too late to make much difference today though.
