Seems to be some heavy rain around for a fair few W areas tonight and into tomorrow - couldnt really say what the risk of flooding is to be honest - sometimes the rain ends up a lot heavier a more persistent, sometimes just a few dribs and drabs. Wouldnt be too concerned at the this stage to be honest.

The cloud's moving-in as I write...But, the last deluge only came to a bit of drizzle. So, who knows?

Maybe yes?? Maybe no??

ground still saturated here so if we do get a good bit of heavy rain it will most likely lead to a bit of flooding for low lying areas. No risk for me though, I'm atop of a hill. Clouded over now but nothing more than spits of large rain drops. Looks quite tropical and stormy, I guess the heavier bursts are to develop as the front moves over the warmer, moist air nearer the Irish sea, the boundary between the nice very warm weather in the Southeast and the damp cool weather in the Northwest

Moderate rain in the last half hour or so has left just 1mm so far. Expecting much more later tonight and tomorrow though. Air pressure down to 1014hPa, a drop of around 10hPa since 10am this morning.

Had 6.7mm overnight, but judging by the met eireann radar, there will be some heavy rain in the next few hours.

Was in Penrith for the TVRCC Big Northern Gathering this weekend and it rained quite heavily all day yesterday. The drive back up here was scary (worse mainly do to being in a tvr). Motor bike ran up the side of our car at j44 in Carlisle, good bit of damage done. There was a lot of water on the roads.
