After a very warm night, (minimum 16.0c) it has been a mostly overcast, dull and breezy morning. Some light drizzle noted at observation, leaving only a trace of rain. The morning continued overcast with some heavy showers in the area, but nothing of any note was recorded at this location. The afternoon saw much brighter and fresher but windy conditions spread in. Maximum wind gust 37mph, SSW. Maximum temperature 21.6c.

Temperature has plummeted to 12.7c here during a fairly heavy shower. Now 12.3c! That is freezing for August!

Started off as another pleasant summer's day and the temp managed to get to 20C....then along came a squally, thundery shower that produced 11mm in 20 minutes and dropped the temp to 14C.
