It's quite possible he's had 10 inches snowfall. It's very localised.

In Wiltshire there is 4 inches here, the areas to my south have up to 8 inches but the NE of the county has just a dusting!

After a further hour of light/moderate snow early today there is 4 inches.

I recorded a min of -10c last night

Apparantly over Salisbury Plain it was -12c :!:

Light to moderate snow here. looks like just a shower but set up is similar to last night when we had about 3cm so could be more on the way.

We had about 10-12cm last night at home in Hexham (difficult to measure as it blew about) , less in Stanley. Great Snow though, -4 degrees this morning. Looks like we may get some more from the radar?

Going to France skiing tomorrow - should have stayed at home :D:wink:8)

Try and make it cold for when I come back - thanks. :-o

Moderate to heavy snow showers in Norwich about every 15 minutes. A lot of the overnight snow has melted though from well used areas, more lying on gardens etc.

Experiencing heavy snow here in Darwen right now, a large snow cloud moved in from the north a few minutes ago.

I have been watching it over the last few minutes as it moved in and the first light snow started, I knew this would contain heavy snow as the fall streaks coming out of it were clearley visible.

A few snow showers this afternoon in Lancaster- proper white fluffy flakes, but none of it settled.
