Sky news say another band of snow will come down in the afternoon, But BBC say there wont be.

I hope sky is correct and BBC are wrong.

Snow showers died out in Lancaster during the early hours; we ended up with 2cm.

Interestingly, in North East England where I come from, it sounds like inland parts of the region (Newcastle, Durham) got a dumping, but the coastal strip (South Shields, Tynemouth, Sunderland) started off with heavy snow but then the coastal warming came into play, giving them no more than Lancaster got.

Well we got about 2 inches but the roads are really dangerous with all the ice as well, so I'm staying home today. Which is bad cos I don't get paid (contracting :cry: ) but I do get to enjoy the snow
