We had a covering again to top up the slight dusting we had two nights ago. We now have about 1cm and clouds building to possibly give us our first shower! We are expected heavy snow overnight, so this is looking good..

Theres about 5in lying here ATM.The first shower was about 9:30am and showers till about 2pm when there was a blizzard and that caused the 5in.I had to go to the school and there was a mother who was really upset because she had crashed her car because for a while the roads were blocked.

Well it's started in York & by the time I got home had been steadily snowing for a while by the look of things.

There is one huge black cloud dumping the stuff at the moment :shock:

The snow has finally got going in Norwich now. Its not sticking on the roads and there is a fair amount of meltwater already. hopefully things with freeze up a tad later on.

Heavy snow turned lighter after 1800 but still flurrying now.
