Site Downtime & The Big Freeze

In the early hours this Saturday, the Netweather servers will be moving to a new datacentre. While this is happening the entire site will be unavailable (from around 1am-7am).

Due to this and the imminent launch of our new look site, we're also shortly going to be implementing 'the big freeze' which basically means that all non-essential changes to the site will be put back until after the new design is live.

thought it was just me. lost connection. i reckon Karl dropped a cup of tea in the server

We believe the downtime this morning was due to external prep work causing a wee overload. Hopefully all goes well tonight and there's not too much superglue and sticky back plastic needed in the morning
