Back again...Might be my connection?

Some excellent lightning showing right now.

EDIT: Well done Ian, you held out for quite a while in that rain.

Hi all, busy day we got on the Miami Cell and chased i t hard I did see dark cone at he back close to core as we were driving towards Miami Tx we were nearly at intersept when Police blocked our path and wouldnt let us pass we tried to divert round but lot loads of miles on it shooting East on the 14O it just was becoming a no go :-( so we ditched it and headed through the other cells to vernon Tx ready for our journey down to DFW tomorrow for our trip home.

Its been a good Tour this year No Nado but some great experiences great sights and sounds

Highlites

Ian doing the steak

4 almost producing Supercells and one we got stuck under when it became Stationary over our heads in Lemasa Tx

loudest Hail Roar I have ever heard down near Stevensville Tx

Tornado Sirens next to our hotel as a Monster Meso span above the Hotel

all in all not to shabby.

Well done Guys, Have a Safe Journey Home! Had a feeling you might be on that Cell when I saw it explode on Radar! Have you seen the Pictures of it on Stormtrack (Storm of the Year for Structure)

We got stuck into the Line trying to find one that would break away from the Linear Mode and try to exhibit Supercell Shape. Only 2 did, got a Nice Rotating Wall Cloud and Meso that tried to produce North of Wichita and then the South Wichita Cell tried before getting absorbed by the Line.

Got some nice Structure shots if you like Gust Fronts, Whales Mouth and Shelfs but other than that 95% of these Storms were Outflow Dominant Gusters! Not warrented for a Moderate Risk IMO

Hi Steve

This is Tom

I hope you and Martin have enjoyed your chase trip. It sounds like you did. Have a safe journey home. A nado is just the icing on the cake.

Have a safe trip home Steve & Martin. Glad your vacation went well!

I leave on Monday for mine but the current outlook pretty much closes down any severe weather for probably all of my two weeks. Anyway atleast I'll get a beer & sun tan by the pool this year. Maybe meet up at Pete's house for a BBQ later in the summer

Hi Steve / Martin,

Have a safe trip home, glad you got some decent action. Hope Martin got sorted with the GPS issues after.

Was nice to meet you both and hopefully will again next year.

Hi Steve Martin,

Not the best year for tornadoes. Like us you did see some good storms.

Safe trip home. Looking forward to seeing your photos and videos on netweather.
