Guys if you want to know who flies into cork here's a rough idea.

Aer Lingus from Heathrow, Ryanair from Stanstead, and aer arann from Birmingham / Edinburgh

Also I think British Midland fly from some Uk airports aswell as Be my baby from central uk

We need to get more numders here. Cork's a beautiful place

i'm thinking of driving over - what are my ferry options?

Hey Stu,

Your best bet is Fishguard to Rosslare with Stenna-Lina

http://www.stenaline.ferries.org

Or Pembroke to Rosslare with Irish Ferries

http://www.irishferries.com

and then drive down to Cork via Waterford. Allot of driving on the UK side. About 2.5 hours drive to Cork from Rosslare.

Hi all,

We've decided to go with Jurys Inn on Cork for the accommodation. Probably the cheapest we can get being in the heart of the city. It works out at €79 on Friday and €89 on Saturday per room.

It works out cheap enough since we can have 2 - 3 people per room. As few of have been on via PM and have booked allready, Paul S, Nick F, Ian C and Stu_London and myself.

For anyone else who hasnt made arrangements yet, you can book online at http://www.jurysinns.com/ Probably best to organise sharing arrangements between yourselves either here or PM. Booking can be done with any major credit card the card is only for guarantee purposes. So no payment will be taken from the card used to book, basically you can split the bill etc with whoever your sharing with etc, or you may not want to share, whatever. Calcellations can be made up untill 2:00 PM on check in day so if anyone needs to pull out for whatever reason or if we end up with an extra room etc we have plenty of time to cancel the room without penalty.

Hope this is OK with everyone. Let me know if you have any questions. <_<

Hey Guys

Hows about another Cork meet up for sometime later this year? cc_confused.gif

My buddy Chris (the watcher) had said to me about the meet up last year, but unfortunately the opportunity to attend wasn't available for me at the time and so, I'm hoping that there will be an opportunity to attend a meet up of some kind this year

It'll be cool to meet up with you good people and to enjoy a few bevvies and a few laughs cool.gif
