Currently in Oslo, and approx. a half to a foot of snow everywhere on my 100km trip (of course, its not new snow, so the roads are nice and clear).

Time to start watching the web cams this week. A north westerly in the offering. We could be seeing a dusting accross the tops of scottish highlands.

Good to see snow return to the mountains, won't be long now

More than a dusting (but definitely not a plastering) above about 750m on hills west and north from Dingwall overnight, lasted all day, snowline slowly going up but plenty left to be added to overnight.

Meall a' Bhùiridh is a mountain on the edge of Rannoch Moor in the Highlands of Scotland. It lies near the top of Glen Coe and Glen Etive, overlooking the Kings House Hotel inn and the A82 road. The Glencoe Ski area is located on the northern slopes of the peak.
