Thats amazing, and eerie at the same time, Love it http://nwstatic.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

That was taken just as the light was fading which gives it that eerie look. It's on the tundra about 3 miles outside the settlement of Churchill on Hudson Bay in Manitoba. I believe the plane came down about 20 years ago and was just left there as it fell. No-one was killed which was good.

Here's a shot I took a few weeks back at an overcast Lindisfarne. The sun never came out as promised which was a shame as some decent light would have really helped this out. It's a stunning place to visit however...

Well, if you need further inspiration to get out there and try again then maybe the winning pictures from the Take a view - Landscape Photographer of the Year award will do just that.

The winner (reproduced above) was taken on the Isle of Skye by Emmanuel Coupe and is titled: Sunrise over the Old Man of Storr, Isle of Skye, Scotland. It's a picture that has both beauty and drama, and you can see why the judges picked it out of the pack.

I saw them yesterday, some really nice shots, although by the looks the one you have shown there looks like its been HDRed, still don't know where I stand on HDR stuff, I think as long as it does tastefully tis ok
