Slinky - the quality of your photos are consistently outstanding - really exceptionally good. what equipment do you use - is it SLR with a long zoom or are you digiscoping?

The treecreeper photograph is the best treecreeper photograph I've EVER seen, and that includes books and professional wildlife photographers - and it isn't as if they're the easiest birds to photograph!

Well done!!

This is a bronze-winged lilytrotter from my India trip.

This is a Hamuman Langur monkey, also taken in the Ghat Mountains in India, in very poor light. It watched me for a whiles as I set up my equipment, let me take 1 photgraph then scampered off.

Thanks just before dawn, very kind of you to say http://nwstatic.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif I use a canon 40D with a 400mm lens would love a 600mm or a 800mm lens but they are thousands of pounds!! So have to rely on feild craft and more normally luck!!!

I am not so keen on the tree creeper shot and hope to get a better one at some point (fingers crossed)

You have a fantastic shot of the Langur, I would have been chuffed to bits to take that one!! :)

Photographed a pair of peregrine falcons today on the cliffs at Scarborough. If you look in the right places you can see them pretty regularly. Never stops me getting a few snaps though!

thank you. I dont think I'm near to putting anyone to shame though haha. I'm doing ok so far with birds, wildlife and people but suck at landscapes at the moment. One step at a time I guess :)
