I have wondered for ages what this blob just below the G77 marker is on the radar. It has been there almost permanently for a long, long time now (all winter) if it is at all cloudy/drizzly/raining. I had no idea what was causing it despite much thought; mentioned it to MrsCatch tonight who instantly said "Oh that'll be that huge windfarm".

It is Whitelee windfarm, the biggest onshore windfarm in Europe. How thick am I??

I see it appears on the Met-O offical radar too, so can anything be done? Or are we stuck with eternal interference from big windmills???
