Are you sure thats Barra and not the Maldives (particularly reflecting on the last in the series) :rolleyes:

Well if thats heaven, and it sure looks like it, then im going! Truly a beautiful place ,just goes to show that we in this country have some of the best scenery in the world. The grass is certainly no greener anywhere else. Well done ,wish I was the one taking those photos! :rolleyes:

Some of these pictures are from Barra and Vatersay two islands.

Some others called sandray and mingulay and pabbay and small islands which where home to 200 people but around 1911 everyone had to move to vatersay or barra.

So if you want to get to these islands for a day you can go during the summer and theres a boat that will take you there.

Hey weathermaster - you are spoiling the close kept secrets of the hebredies...!

I can sit on the beach on the Isle of Coll and imagine I am in the carribean... everyone should try and get out there at some point in their lives (hebredies that is, not carribean lol)
