yes lovely shots there and I do like the 'skeleton' tree with the bark missing in places and being caught by the sun, or are my eyes again deceiving me?

Your right, that was the sun light just reaching the tree at that point. The scene only lasted a few minutes ... the mist started to burn away almost as soon as the sun reached it.

The 1st, 4th and 5th are truly stunning they really capture winter. I could look at those in august and memories of winter would come flooding back to me ;)
