Thanks,

Yes i took those shots at a place called Cresswell, which is just outside Widdrington, just up the road from Lynemouth

if you ever get the chance take a trip up there, wonderful scenery, it takes about 20 mins to get there from the airport

A few more pics from the North Sea, The first few shots was when we had the strong winds , [DURING THE NEW MOON PHASE}

The last two were taken during the First quarter stage, virtually calm

The 5th pic down is my fav-the dark shadow of the tree really sets the sky off well and the birds in the tree make it even better-very well done!

I see you have the knack with wave shots Nigel, well done ;)

IMO it is very interesting photographing waves with distant shores, I am always looking for those opportunity's.

Russ

BLYTH this morning, taken around 0800hrs , snow streamer moving in from the north east heading south east

heavy snow fell just after taking these shots

It was bitterly cold over the coast especially in that north easterly breeze

nigel

before i gorget, Thankyou for all of your comments , much appreciated

RUSTY==

Yes ive got the pleasure of being virtually being near the coast every day, from Newbiggin by the sea, Lynemouth, and Blyth as those are my delivery areas. i was gutted on Thursday has i never had my camera has its in for repair, its going to take 14 days for it to come back to me so i thought to myhself , with the snow event this weekend, i better get down to Asda and buy a new camera, i purchased the S5700 fine pix, my s5600 IS THE ONE IN FOR REPAIR, its blinking typical that when a major event happens, you are left without the most important item going (a camera) now i will have two camera , lol
