Snow in Cyprus

I have just seen some amazing pictures taken today on the Cyprus Living site where it is snowing just outside of Paphos!

Was there on the 9th Jan and it was bloody freezing! In Larnaca that is.

Troodos must be a nice sight!

It's not unusual in the Troodos mountains, but lower down near Paphos it is. It is known you can ski in the mountains in the morning and swim and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon.

yes, done it, although very many years ago, also seen several inches of snow in Nicosia.
