Driftwood and surfers at Birling Gap Eastbourne. The water looked freezing cold and there was still some wood floating around :bomb:

Blimey, still lots of wood around then!! They closed the beaches around the Worthing area IIRC, only problem is the wood will be all rotten by now :bomb: . BTW what is that boat doing on the side of the cliff????? Thank you for the photos

That's lashed up there all year round, the fishermen cant get it up the steep cliff so winch it up onto that ladder frame and tie it down!

LOL - that first surfer one looks like the advert for Guinness extra cold where all the surfers run into the water to catch a monster wave and then all turn round and run out again because it's too cold!

Well work started on the clean up. Access was prohibited but I did get a couple of shots on Miss Shorelines Nokia:
