Just had a tremendous hail/rain shower, torrential rain falling horizontally and very squally winds - no lightning seen yet though

hi i can confirm thunder and lighting to my north and heading eastish, pretty nasty for awhile

looking at the radar heading is southeast towards southampton,isle of wight area

Well done, bang on with your prediction! We have had a storm with torrential rain, hail, lightning and thunder. It scared the cat to bits! Was this convection forecasted or did I miss something? :o

Wonderful storm here at the moment 80mph winds, squally weather with thunder, lightening and contionuous hail, has made everything go white. Temp down to 2.5oC!! Has been a wild night, havent slept :o
