seems like its buxton in derbyshire, even in the dreadful even larger teapot era they are guaranteed significant snow off a cold spell, they had loads on 18th nov 07

Buxton Probably is the Coldest Town in Britain every time i have been there even in summer it's always been freezing brrrrrr it always does well for snow aswell Probably the Best place in Central England for Snow and Probably the best to see snow that lasts longer than 1 day.

Sorry, Braemar is significantly colder in Winter than Buxton and statistically has twice as many snow lying days. Faskally at under 100 mtrs in the Central Highlands has the same average snow lying days as Buxton at 300+mtrs. [one fewer to be precise].
