We had a small storm here at around 2pm. It produced maybe 5 flashes with fairly loud thunder. It was on a par with the last one, I'd say.

Storm happening here now, knocked the power out a couple of times. Nothing too severe but a few cloud to ground strikes and more cloud to cloud strikes. Makes a nice change to see a storm though.

Storm started abot 20 minutes ago from an east to west direction. Main activity is south of Redditch (may be the same one Pershore is currently experiencing). Thunder about every 5 minutes or so but loud and booming.

A friend of mine has just told me that they had a storm in Holsworthy near Bude at around 11am which lasted about half an hour. He said the thunder was the loudest he'd ever heard, but the lightning was mostly CC. A river broke its banks and the town was closed off in the afternoon so the fire brigade could pump the water out.

Just heard a distant rumble here - been very warm and sticky today. Breeze blown up in the last 5 mins. and some rather large spots now falling.

Blimey - quick edit - Thunder rolling in very, very fast and getting more powerful no lightning witnessed yet.

Nice thunderstorm in Brum as I left work at around 9.30pm. Flashes every few minutes and some really loud booms of thunder. C-C lightning seen on the drive home but only a few distant rumbles here at home which have now stopped.

Scratch that distant rumble - torrential rain, storm almost overhead, lots of lightning - I love this.

Hi Mr 'Interested.'

I can see and hear the flash/bangs from what you are getting.

Sounds fun

Andy

Had a few flashes and rumbles between 11pm and midnight, then again at about 2.50am it came back and got quite close but not very frequent although must have lasted a good couple of hours.

Callie ;)
