Hi Guys,

Just about to leave, current thinking is to head up to North East Colorado where there could be a Chance of Discrete Supercells, so a long haul up the I25 Towards Denver then North East towards the Wray area. Should be getting Upslope Storms all the way up but temps look better up there and a Possible Dryline Set-Up as well. Wish us luck!

Wishin'you all the luck on your epic 300+ mile journey, hope its worth the haul, looks like upslopes are initiating so like you say, most probable for storms on the way...... Like yesterday you can follow the teams journey care of Steve Landells UKstorms website

Looking like some half decent cells have formed in the area the team were thinking about

But not a lot happening on the radar at the moment.

Just 2 words for Today "BUSTOLA CRAPOLA" :) Probably wont even start a picture report thread, but will upload some pictures of some things we saw along the way. These storms were so pathetic I could not be bothered at times. Highlights of the day was when a Nice Colorado State Trooper pulled up behind us and looked at the radar asking wether he should put his squad car through the car wash or await the rain shower from Peublo! I guess he was as bored as us. Saw some Snow Topped Colorado Mountains today and a Stilletto shaped cloud. Thats as good as it gets, Pretty much ready to come home now as nothing much happening for our last 3 days.

Yeah not a very good day for storms, looked promising then the radar images showed storms weakenin'.! It was that stilletto cloud, kicked the storms away!! Still nice landscape photos, better luck for day 19..

Lol Stewart, Forgot about that one. Currently about to leave Limon, the others have blasted off towards Scotts Bluff (Ne) in readiness for what looks like a decent outbreak early next week. Lets Hope they increase on their Tornado Count for this year. We are now in a Situation where we cannot commit to the Northern High Plains as we fly in 3 days time, so we will drop into the far East of New Mexico today and hang around there for the next 3 days or so.

Well you've seen a few more places Paul and checked out areas for future years. You've all done a great job. Steady wind down now for the trip home.

No rain for miles..

To be honest Paul, you would have seen more storms during this week where you've been than we'll probably see in Essex or Kent all summer, so worth staying on, particularly as you got some good scenery in aswell. Little weather here in the UK since I got back or in the forseeable future to wet the appetite - unless you like wind :) zzzzzzzzzzzz

Yeah Point Taken Nick,

Dreading another summer of 1 rumble of thunder and a distant flash of Lightning, we could still have 2 days of Storms before we leave so here's hoping.
