Great work to the team for some fantastic images.

Thanks NL for the stitching...it shows the huge scale of the wall structure!

I noticed some small streaks of bright light, particulary in the 3rd picture.

Were planes flying in conditions like that or is it just due to water droplet on the lens?

Good luck for the rest of the trip

That is quite amazing, that shelf cloud is unreal, I've only ever seen one that could match that and you'll know it Paul, the 04 july MCS but even that doesn't come close to the size of that one, its huge and so impressive!!!

NL- great job meshing the whole thing into one, that is truely stunning, I think you al lmust have been in awe with that.

I think it's me who got chopped off.. and thats probably for the best :D

Any chance you could tell me what program you use to do the stitching with? I have a few other shots I'd like to try and stitch together (nothing of that quality though :good: )

Cool Showerfest continues for the next week. Hints of a change beyond that?

With the jet stream close to the south and low pressure nearby over the next 7 days, expect showers or longer spells of rain over many areas, staying cool too, with temperatures below average. But hints of something drier and more settled arriving next weekend. View the full blog here
